The Mid-Summer Classic

Our Time

The Mid-Summer Classic

There's a place we would go when were kids
As far away from home as we could get
Without a car, as long as we were home for dark
As time got older, and girls came closer
We're on our own but we're never alone
When times are hard, we never grew too far apart

Where ever this road leads us
We won't forget the things we've done…

This is where we have become who we are
Our friends have made us who we are
Live these nights like nothing else matters (nothing else matters)
We won't be young our whole lives
This is our time

Staying out late and skipping class
We're living each night like it's the last one that we have
The years flew by so fast
We've made it this far through thick and thin
But we'd give it all up and do it again
Cause we all know, this is where we call home

Where ever this road leads us
We won't forget the things we've done…

This is where we have become who we are
Our friends have made us who we are
Live these nights like nothing else matters (nothing else matters)
We won't be young our whole lives
This is our time

We're getting older, it's getting closer
Till we go our own ways, we will say…

This is where we have become who we are
Our friends have made us who we are
Live these nights like nothing else matters (nothing else matters)
We won't be young our whole lives
This is our time
