You wanna be a big star
You couldn't cut it though
You want to be on the Tv screen
They said you had a face for radio

So you got some work done
Just a few repairs
And all your frienda re so impressed
They're all asking if you're still in there

Chorus:
Oh, Caroline everybody loves you
Oh, Caroline everybody loves you
Oh, Caroline everybody loves you now

You packed your suitcase
Moved out to L.A.
Yeah you showed off your new stuff
Scored a lead roll in a movie

You throw crazy parties
Put on a big show
Yeah you're throwing winks and kissing cheeks
You don't know anybody in there though
No

Chorus

You tell everyone that you're living the dream
But somehow at the top you still feel empty
It's what you've always wanted
So why aren't you happy?

Chorus
