Wandered through the valley for one too many years
Just to find that one beacon of light
Came across a youg alien who shone like the sun
And told me it could bring me the light

Take me across the time

Passed by cities and galaxies too
All in the second of a blink of the eyes
Felt the stars beneath and the moon above
And nothing else inside their minds

Hoping to pacify

Been looking for reasons, reasons to understand
Where all of this has come from, and when I can take a stand
Looking for reasons, from here, there and everywhere
Looking for reasons, like I even seem to care
