Friendship

Dear friends, one more year is passing us by,
I know I won't forget those nights
when we had barbecue until the cash was over,
we could have fun just for being closer.

Although we counted the coins to pay the check,
I can't wait to have those days back.

It's kept in me...
the sorrow of being so far,
When I decided to leave
I didn't know that'd be so hard.

I did what I did, not feeling guilty
I'm just trying to find a real duty
By the self confidence that you guys helped to build
Even wounds of the time are being healed.
