Hot summer days

Always home at weekends

If my friend's not at home

Maybe in his house

We'd play

Never getting enough

Disconnected from life

Never heard a thing

Then a boy came

To our street one day

"Lets play computer" he said to the boys

We gathered, excited

Thirsty for those beautiful games

We thought he had a Commodore

We all believed him

As we were running up the stairs

We made plenty of noise

Ah how happy he was

Mother wasn't home

Found friends at last

Suddenly stopped at the door

"Fooled you!"
