The Serpent King
Come quick, come quick to me daddy
I heard my dear daughter scream

I have been bit by a dreadful snake
And I fear that soon I must sleep

I ran, I ran to my daughter
I finally reached her side

Dear daddy dear daddy I have been bit
And now I fear that I must die

Do this, do this my dear daddy
Do this one favor for me

Please find and kill that serpent
That brought me to this grief

I will, I will darlin daughter

I swear by my blood I..ll find that snake
And he will pay most frightfully

Then my sweet daughter closed her eyes
And I laid her down to sleep

From that day forth all through the hills
I was known as the Serpent King

I slew those serpents by the score
And nailed their skins to my wall

Since I cannot know which took my daughter
I must kill them all
