Erik Joey

Erik Joey is the stage name for Erik José Aparecido de Figueiredo, who was born in Brazil on July 21, 1982.

Erik is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer and arranger. He was born into a music industry family and for this reason, since his childhood, he has always had a strong connection with music and the world of show business.

Being influenced by the rock and roll music from the 60's, 70's and 80's, Erik started his career at age of 14, when he could already write and record his own songs.

In 2002, along with some friends, he officially founded his first band, "Geiser". After releasing an Ep and a double album, the band not only won admirers in their home country but also in different places around the world. Some of their songs were even played on radio stations in the Us and Europe.

As a producer, Erik worked together with artists like Demis Roussos, Manolo Otero and Nazareth.

Erik has sung and released songs in English and Portuguese language.

On his first solo studio album, "More Than The Truth", he wrote, arranged, produced and mixed all songs.
