The Story

Adam Purski

(Verse 1)
Back in ‘08, it was the first time to write a verse, I'd
Feel fine to say, I was rappin' so great
Looking back now, I didn't express my mind for the eyes
‘Cause I was bad since they
Never understood what came out of my mouth
I sounded like my favourite rapper from Usa
I guess it made many faces red
Don't be shy to admit, don't
deny like being overweight
However, I'd get verbal attacks
“You look so scared, get the fuck off that
You'll never be great to the greatest eyes
You're no better with what you say up on rap”
I didn't know what to do with this pain
It made me change, but that'll no longer happen today
My name is Adam Purski. Madam
purposely I come rapping to say

(Chorus) x2
Take a step to the speaker in line
Turn up the volume, its story time
Sit around and hear from wanderer's mind
Speak the sound and repeat the rhyme

(Verse 2)
What rap changed is how I'd speak, it'd be
Clear with the words that came out, before
it was drained
But getting up on stage, hearing the beat
Walking side to side let my voice shake
The mountains create a mist
So dwarves like you would crew up to slay
and regain your gifts
But I ain't going, I'm here to stay
But if you do succeed, I'd leave this shit stain
So you'd remember me mate
Then end of these days, the wreckin' of each way
Of the course would be
So pointless like if it was 15k
Out of the bank, and it was something
I could have self-taught myself
Every day I think, I try to let my thoughts out
within every discipline way
Get it down, if I don't, get me the belt
so I can make it proper to say

(Chorus) x2

(Verse 3)
People wonder why I rap in an accent
I'm from the land down under; it's original to have it
You may think these beats aren't your vibe
It's something different; it speaks as if it has a mind
The last time I performed was at high school
The fast rhymes I formed made no hyped or drool
In 2011, it was my first release
But worse, I'd see
That it didn't do well after hours I set in
The rap book, yet I scrapped it
Call it a scrap book, but the fact is
I couldn't see myself do it again
But I quit that actin' and picked up my pen
Who cares about all the cash and
Success, I almost turned to something I hated
No matter how many people want to get in
Just keep doing what makes you happy in the end
that's success

(Chorus) x2
